Lottery Winner Goes for the Noose after Exhausting His Lottery Winnings

Lottery Winner Killed Himself

It is often said that cash won solely through lack does not last long. A recent case has made this saying a reality. Gerald Muswagon, a man from Winnipeg in the Canadian province of Manitoba hanged himself after he ran out all the money he had won in a lottery draw a few years back.

Muswagon had won a whopping $10 million in a Super 7 lottery draw 7 years back in 1998. But after he recklessly spent all his money & ran out of every penny. He went into deep depression when he found out that he did not have any of his winnings left. This led him to commit suicide in his parents garage.

He was known for his extravagant spending and often he would throw lavish parties for his friends at his “Party Pad”. At his parties, alcohol and hard drugs were heavily consumed. This lifestyle got him into the police blacklist. Being in the police blacklist was not a deterrent to his bad boy lifestyle.

Before his death, he had added a sexual assault infraction to his long list of offenses. However, his most popular offense was a pursuit between him and the police in his Chevrolet Silverbird speeding at 112 miles per hour.
