Lottery Win Gives Son 45 Million More Reason to Hate Mom

Lottery win

Matt Topham winning a cool 45 million £ would mean lots of happiness for his entire family right? Well, this is not really the case. Matt raking in £45m from the EuroMillions draw windfall could only mean more heartbreak for his Mom, 49 year old Julie.

Well, what could be the reason for Mum isn’t being proud of his boy at this happy moment? Well, the two apparently have been having a long feud spanning over the last decade. After seeing her son receive the dummy cheque alongside his fiancée Cassey Carrington, Julie decided to write her son a letter of congratulations and a final appeal to patch things up.

The letter was about three pages long and was written in that loving tone only a mother could use to appeal to his son. What she got as reply moved her to tears. Julie said that she mentioned in the letter of not being interested in the prize money but wanted to get back to her son whom she lost over a decade ago. She also mentioned the reality of how the prize money would only work to widen the rift between them.

What she got in reply was a curt remark excommunicating her from not only his life, but the lives of her future grandchildren. What she got in reply was a corrected version of what she had written, a letter addressed to Julie having the word ‘Mom” cancelled out. This happened just after an hour of her sending the letter.

It all began when Matt’s father and Julie separated and Matt opted to live with his Dad.  Julie claims that Matt’s father poisoned his son’s mind and turned him against her.

From the way things are looking, there is no reconciliation for the two.
