Lotofácil Review

Lotofácil Review

Brazilian Lotofácil is a lottery game offered by Loterias CAIXA. It is an exciting game that promises a lot of fun and prizes. Ever since its inception, it has been growing in terms of the number of participants as more people become more interested. CAIXA is responsible for the scheduling of games and in case of any postponement to inform the public well in advance.

How to Play Brazilian Lotofácil

As the name suggests, Lotofácil is an easy to bet game with high chances of winning. The minimum bet consists of 15 numbers and the cost per bet is R$ 2.00. When you visit authorized retail outlets, you will be given a playslip that has panels consisting of 25 numbers. You are required to choose anything from 15 to 18 numbers to enter the draw.

Winning is easy because it starts with matching 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 numbers. Picking of the numbers on the wheel can be done in two ways. You can pick the numbers manually if you have specific numbers that you have in mind as your lucky numbers. Alternatively, you can go for the system pick where you allow the computer terminal to generate random numbers for you.

Whichever method you choose, the bottom line is that you will end up with a ticket that confirms your participation in Brazilian Lotofácil.

In case you want to participate in many draws all at once without revisiting the outlet, you have an opportunity to compete with the same bet for 3, 6, 9, or 12 consecutive draws. The drawings for the Brazilian Lotofácil are done 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting from 8 p.m.

Lotofácil Ticket

Once you fill in the playslips and pay the required fees, you will be issued with a ticket that confirms your participation in the respective draw. The ticket has the date of purchase and that of the draw printed on it. It also shows clearly the name of the game which is, in this case, is Brazilian Lotofácil.

Ensure that the numbers as you have selected appear on the ticket in the same order. Numbers selected through the system will have a notion against them to show that they were system generated. The price of the ticket will be imprinted on it as well as the unique serial number.

The ticket in Brazilian Lotofácil much like in other lotteries is a bearer document. This means that anybody who presents it for payment is taken to be the owner. It is therefore important that you authenticate it by signing it at the back. Also, keep it safe and clean so that it doesn’t fold and become defaced. If this happens, it could delay or deny you your prize.

Lotofácil Drawing

As pointed out above, the drawings are held thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Since the draw starts from 8 p.m., players are advised to buy their tickets beforehand because ticket sales will be suspended during the period of the draw and later reopened for subsequent draws.

During the draw, 5 globes are used. Each globe draws a ball at a time and these balls determine the winning numbers for the prizes. The first globe draws the first tens of thousands from 0 to 9. The second globe draws the second unit of thousands again from 0 to 9. The third globe draws 30 centena 0 to 9, the fourth globe draws 40 ten 0 to 9, and the fifth globe draws 50 unit 0 to 9.

The number of balls in the globe producing tens of thousands is determined by the number of tickets sold according to the lottery plan. In the event a number is drawn that is in excess of the number of tickets that are scheduled for extraction, a new draw will be held.

All the balls have colors depending on the digits they represent. 1s are colored red, 2s yellow, 3s green, 4s brown, 5s blue, 6s pink, 7s black, 8s ashes, 9s orange, and 0s white. The balls are aligned in repositories each holding a maximum of 10 balls. The balls are then loaded into the globe where the shuffling takes place.

During the draw, Brazilian Lotofácil ensures transparency by inviting representatives of the public, volunteers, and auditors to verify that the process is done without bias. Among other things, the representatives' check includes the positioning of the balls and the numerical sequence in the repository. They also confirm that the globe is empty before any balls are loaded. If everything is above board, the representatives sign the daily participation report (RPDIA).

Lotofácil Prize Breakdown

Of the total collection from ticket sales, 45.3% goes to prizes and the rest is distributed to ministries to support government projects and charity work. The distribution of the prizes first takes care of the fixed value winners as follows:

  • Matching 11 out of 15 numbers gives you R$ 4.
  • Matching 12 out of the 15 drawn numbers gives you R$ 8.
  • Matching 13 out of the 15 drawn numbers gives you R$ 20.

Once the winners with fixed values are determined, the rest of the prize amounts is distributed to the other categories of prizes as follows:

  • 65% is allocated to the first prize category where players correctly predict the 15 numbers drawn.
  • 20% is for the second prize category where players predict 14 out of the 15 drawn numbers.
  • 15% is reserved for the first track in the special context that is held every September.

Lotofácil of Independence

This is a contest held every September and lasts the entire month, that is 30 days. CAIXA does special flyers for this event and informs the public in advance. 80% of the collections are allocated to prizes giving people more for their betting amounts.

In Lotofácil of Independence, if there is no winner in the top prize category, the prize is distributed among the second category winners. In the event there is no winner in the first and second categories, the prizes are distributed downwards until they reach the fifth prize category (where players match 11 numbers out of 15).

The probabilities of winning are much more favorable in both single bets and the other types of bets. For instance, the probabilities of winning in the first to fifth categories for the single bet are 1: 3,268,760, 1: 21,791, 1:691, 1:59, and 1:11 respectively.

If you pick 16, 17, or 18 numbers instead of the standard 15, you will pay more per play. 16 numbers give you 16 games which means you pay R$ 32, 17 numbers give you 136 games equivalent to R$ 272, and 18 numbers equal 816 plays equivalent to R$ 1,632.
